“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” - Deuteronomy 6:6-8

The Christian Education Ministry was organized in 1976. Church School, Vacation Bible School (VBS), Wednesday Noon Bible Study, Wednesday Night Bible Study, Educational Congresses, seminars, and workshops are all part of the teaching ministries of Christian Education. This Ministry is responsible for every teaching and training aspect at Antioch.

The New Members’ Orientation, Senior Citizens Ministry, church library, and the resource room were established as part of the Christian Education Ministry.

The purpose of the Christian Education Ministry is to administer the teaching programs of the church and to create and cultivate learning experiences that will:
  • bring Salvation through the knowledge and realization of Jesus Christ;
  • prepare God’s people to become mature Christians; and
  • equip every believer to operate in the ministries of Antioch.
The goals of the Christian Education Ministry are:

  • to review the teaching and training programs of the church;
  • to identify, train, and encourage leaders and members of the church; and
  • to review all curriculum and resource materials used for any training or workshops at the church.
The Christian Education Ministry meets quarterly as determined by the Director.
